In 2018, Paramount Rx saved Floridians nearly $1.3 million on generic heart medications through its Community Cares Rx prescription discount program. Consumers using the program's free prescription discount card saved nearly 67 percent over retail cost for medications treating conditions like high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

The Community Cares Rx card is accepted at more than 57,000 pharmacy locations across the country. Since January, the program has added an additional 700 new retail pharmacy locations across Florida. This expands options for customers and allows them to stay with their preferred community pharmacy. Online tools also allow program participants to locate a pharmacy and research drug pricing and availability, providing an extra layer of support and convenience in the pharmacy shopping experience.
