Dr. Mazumder received his medical education from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and then completed his residency and internship at Baylor College of Medicine and at MD Anderson. He then fellowed in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland where he also researched in immunology under Dr. Steven Rosenberg and NCI. He has contributed to more than 130 articles to peer-reviewed journals and has a number of grants, patents, abstracts, book chapters, and invited presentations to his credit. He has conducted as Principal Investigator in over 50 clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma and Transplant over the last 15 years.
He is fluent in Hindi and Bengali.
