Around 2000 kids from various schools across the city would be participating in three run categories which are 500 metres Mom & Me Run, 1 Km Apollo Budding Champs run and 2 Km Super Champs. Each kid finishing the run would get a medal and a certificate. Besides this, goodie bags, zumba, food fiesta, DJ and food light stadium are the other attractions at the event.

Siddha Kiddathon is an initiative to give back to the society as all surplus will be utilized for chemotherapy costs for the less privileged children and other welfare activities. Calcutta Central Ladies Circle 27 have been doing fund raisers every year to support the long term project of Ladies Circle India - Educate to Enlighten, wherein, we build and support schools for the underprivileged children. Every year, one school is built by the circle in the rural areas around Kolkata.

"We at Siddha pledge for better and healthy living to attain highest dreams. We are humbled to be a part of this unique initiative for the cancer affected children across India who do not get adequate treatment due to monetary constraints of cancer treatment. We look forward to a successful Kiddathon. Let's make our kids run for a cause!", said Mr Sanjay Jain, Managing Director, Siddha Group.

"With more than 1300 dedicated members growing quantitatively every year, we at Ladies Circle India are continuously working towards the cause of the movement by raising funds and undertaking worthy projects in our areas. Other than taking steps to empower the kids suffering from cancer, this year, we have also adopted a slum school where we will ensure proper sanitation and education for all deserving kids. This December, let our children be the tool to empower the treatment of some of those underprivileged children and bring smiles on their faces", said Mrs Reetika Jain, Chairperson, Calcutta Central Ladies Circle 27.
