CancerFoundation (i[2]y), one of the nation's largest advocacy organizations forsurvivors in their 20s and 30s, announced today their partnership to increaseawareness of the fertility preservation options and additional supportresources available to survivors in their childbearing years. Each year, nearly 70,000 young adults face the possibility of losing theirfertility due to cancer and cancer related treatments simply because they areuninformed of their options. Over the next twelve months, CCB and i[2]y willstrive to ensure every young man and woman dealing with cancer understands theopportunity exists to store their reproductive tissue for future use.

Along with an ongoing internet cross-promotional awareness campaign, CCB'sco-founder, Dr. Cappy Rothman, will appear on i[2]y's "Stupid Cancer Show", aninternationally syndicated live talk radio webcast about cancer in youngadults, on July 28th to discuss sperm, egg, and embryo banking and thespecific programs available to assist these young adults. Additionally, CCBwill equip oncology professionals with i[2]y support materials at cancercenters throughout the nation.
