NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- According to a recent study by Columbia University,
In response to this need, United in Assignment, LLC (UIA) brought to market a special division of their LIFE IMPACT GROUPS and One-on-One Grief Coaching Programs. This leg of the company continues to see significant growth as a division that helps people who have lost a spouse find deep healing, move forward and design a life after tragedy in a very intentional way. The overwhelming majority of support available to widow(er)s and those facing life transition is treatment-based — counselors and groups that are focused on the past and the journey that led to where you are: the pain, hurt, and loss people have experienced. While genuine, deep healing is important so is the move forward.
"I have rebuilt an extraordinary life from ground zero, opened myself to new love, and created a life filled with purpose and passion. I am fully committed to doing whatever it takes to help people through their gap of transition - going from where they find themselves today and arriving to the life they truly desire - even after deep hurt," says Jana.
Her programs and philosophies are developed from the streets of real-life experience. She developed a system, strategy, and playbook after having to pick up the pieces of her life following her husband's death. They are now using these systems and strategies to impact people across the country and now reaching and lifting people up from around the world."
At 32, Jana was left the widow of a war hero, raising their two small daughters after her husband's fifteen-month battle with cancer (leukemia). Following her loss, Seaman struggled to find a support group that walked her through the journey of identifying the emotions, finding healing, the support of others who had 'been there', and really intentionally mapping out what she wanted the next chapter of her life to look like.
"Our clients have experienced tragic loss. They have reached a spot of brokenness in life, and are in what we call 'transition'. An important moment that defines who they will be as they step into the next chapter and also determines the quality of how they will live the remainder of their days on this earth. Living an extraordinary life after devastating loss will require intentional action - clarity of exactly what they want, an actual plan to get there, discovering what is holding them back, and accountability to the results. Results are going from merely existing inside your grief-stricken reality to really living your life again," Jana says. "The grief, the love, the memories - you will carry with you for the remainder of your life. But we are each individually responsible to pick up our broken, messy pieces of life and create something meaningful and beautiful out of them again."
She chose to go out and build a new life full of all of the great things that she and her late husband wanted for their family versus living every day with a dark cloud over her head and allowing the grief to consume her. "I have grief. I grieve. Because my love for Jon still lives and he isn't here to receive it," Jana says. But she has chosen to live life fully – for herself and her children. She has inspired many others to do the same and her passion is driving the growth of this movement. Members are seeing real results.
Their support groups are made up of real people, courageously picking up their broken pieces after something really ugly; committed to a beautiful life again. All of their members have faced difficult life transition yet have chosen, by participating in the UIA programs, to live into the next chapter of their lives with intention and gaining clarity of their destination and purpose. No need to commute or find childcare; these groups meet weekly by video conference, allowing UIA to match people with unique experiences from all over the country. Ultimately, the comaraderie within the group offers collective intelligence while challenging, encouraging, supporting, loving and holding one another accountable to live into the future they desire.
The Life IMPACT Groups serve as the flagship service of United In Assignment. They have support groups for both Loss/Grief and Divorce. They are exclusive member-only groups of 8-10 individuals seeking to grow and take back control of their lives. Highly-trained and experienced coaches guide groups of members in an open forum, where accountability structures are set up, and blueprints are drawn to build a more fulfilling life. While the mission of all IMPACT Groups is to help members progress towards a more meaningful, elevated life, the mission is especially vital for those who have lost loved ones, are emerging from divorce, or are facing extreme life transition.
"Our commitment is to do whatever it takes to encourage people, to inspire success, and get real results," says UIA Co-Founder Brent Seaman. He goes on to say, "what we uncovered is there is an entire movement of people who are hurting and are looking for direction, hope and encouragement. What Jana has lived allows us to connect with these people on a deeper level. Time does not heal all wounds, but hope can carry you the final mile and goes a long way for the many that are looking for the roadmap to their next best life. We recognize the privilege it is to be a part of this process for our members as we help them find the words to write a new chapter."
