Medicare is a government health insurance program for people age 65 or older. It may also cover certain younger people with disabilities, as well as those suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Calls may be made daily October 1 to February 14, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from February 15 to September 30, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A messaging system is used after hours, weekends, and on federal holidays.
