Dr. Robin Foldesy Appointed to Leadership Role

RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, announced today the appointment of Dr. Robin Foldesy as Vice President of Project Management for the Americas. Dr. Foldesy is responsible for the functional management support of the Project Directors and Project Managers, as well as process enhancements within project management in the Americas and the strategy of project management at an organizational level.

The co-inventor of five patents, Dr. Foldesy is noted for his achievements in discovery research, clinical development, and project management. He has authored 24 scientific articles and chapters, and is a frequent presenter at conferences on project management, research and development strategy, and leadership.

Prior to joining PRA, Dr. Foldesy most recently served as Vice President of Project Management at Wyeth Research. He also has served in management and research positions for Gynopharma Inc., Family Health International, and Ortho Pharmaceutical Corporation.

Dr. Foldesy has completed postdoctoral research fellowships at both Vanderbilt University and Cornell University. He holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Rutgers University and an A.B. in Biology from Lafayette College.
