Ned Russell Joins Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness

NEW YORK, July 21 Following a string of account wins and creative awards, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness (SSW) is expanding its ranks with the hire of Ned Russell as EVP, Director of Client Services; a new position at the agency. He will become a member of the agency's Executive Team.

Ned joins SSW after working on both the client and agency sides of the marketing business. Most recently he was VP of Brand Marketing for Las Vegas Sands Corporation for which he was a member of its Executive Committee and Operating Board. For the Sand's properties he oversaw marketing for the world's largest five-diamond resort, with over $3 billion in annual sales and 9,000 employees.

Last month SSW was awarded the Durex account following a review. In addition, the agency has picked up four additional assignments in health and wellness for undisclosed new products.

Prior to Las Vegas Sands, Ned worked at agencies Arnold and DDB with clients such as McDonald's, Hershey and Johnson & Johnson, for whom he managed the global expansion of its skin care portfolio as well as its Acuvue Disposable Contact Lens business. Ned also started the Anderson DDB direct-to-consumer agency with offices in New York and Toronto, and he worked in Asia for three years on Coca-Cola, Unilever and J&J while at Lintas.'
