"Every day we are working to ensure that children facing life-threatening experiences are given hope and an opportunity to shine despite the circumstance. With the help of our partners and generous donors, we are working to make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of children, one child at a time," said Anna Lanzatella, Executive Director of Kids Wish Network.

At the age of 6, Branden was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Myopathy. This condition weakens the musculoskeletal system causing progressive skeletal muscle weakness, defects in muscle proteins, and the death of muscle cells and tissue. His diagnosis has caused a curvature of his spine and he is now permanently wheel chair bound.
"Seeing the Nebraska Cornhuskers play was the ultimate experience for Branden. This is his all-time favorite team and he can't wait to see them again!" said Nicholas, Branden's father. "We are so grateful for everything that Kids Wish Network has done for us, we loved the entire trip."
During the game Branden received a Cornhuskers jersey as well as an autograph book from the team. "I loved watching the game with my family; it was the best night of my life. The chicken at the restaurant was really good too!" said Branden.
Kids Wish Network would like to thank the following for making Branden's experience so memorable: Jesse Gardner and The Nebraska Cornhuskers, The Green Gateau and the Hampton Inn.
