FEDERAL WAY, Wash., Sept. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) is excited to announce that Laurie Hofmann, MPH, IFM's current chief executive officer, has accepted the additional role of chairman of the IFM Board of Directors.

Former Chairman of the Board Mark Hyman, MD, will transition into a new role as IFM's Board President of Clinical Affairs. Hyman will lead IFM's work in building innovative clinical collaborations such as Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine.
