HospiRank lists LatAm hospitals according to seven specific categories, including best equipped to host patients, highest counts of surgical equipment, highest focus on cardiovascular care, best-installed base for treating cancer, and more.
"After the success of our 2017 ranking, we wanted to build on that and share even more data with healthcare professionals and the general public," explains Guillaume Corpart, CEO and founder of Global Health Intelligence (GHI). "For the 2018 ranking report, we expanded to cover seven analysis categories—nearly twice as many as in 2017—for eight of the largest hospital markets in Latin America," says Corpart. Because market sizes, regulatory frameworks and access differ by market, GHI created its ranking by identifying the top hospitals in each country.
