"By the time I was a senior in high school, I knew I wanted to be an optometrist, and I stayed on that track," said Dr. Bouras, who is also engaged to an optometrist (they met in optometry school). It's safe to say the entire Bouras family will be well cared for where eye care is concerned!
In addition to receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree (with honors) from Illinois College of Optometry in 2017, Dr. Bouras completed a rigorous residency in Ocular Disease with the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. There he received specialized training in treating and managing ocular diseases as well as pre and post-op care of cataract and LASIK patients. He also attended a medical mission to Nicaragua to provide much-needed eye care in several underserved areas.
"Center For Sight is the perfect fit for me to use the skills and experience I gained in my residency since it is a busy practice with a significant focus on eye disease and conditions in addition to vision correction," said Dr. Bouras.
Dr. Bouras will see patients at all four Center for Sight locations.
Center For Sight is a comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry practice with deep roots in Las Vegas. Focused on experienced doctors and advanced training in laser vision correction and more, Center For Sight has four locations serving the southernmost part of the state.
