The 2007 Wish House Gala was an especially emotional event. Matthew, alocal child who was the recipient of one of the wishes granted by the localchapter of the foundation, gave a touching testimonial about the hope DienstCustom Homes and the Make-A-Wish Foundation had brought into his life. Hisheart-felt tribute left many in tears, as it gave them a first-hand account ofthe difference their donations were making in the lives of children in theirown community.

With over 200 children currently on the local Make-A-Wish Foundation'swish list, Dienst Custom Homes has pledged to pool their resources to continueto lower that number in the years to follow. "Our continued partnership withDienst Custom Homes has been a huge success, especially considering the amountof wishes their Wish House Gala has helped us grant in only three years," saidMake-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina Chairman of theBoard of Directors Kelli Breaux. "They've introduced us to architects,contractors, and trade vendors -- an industry we had yet to form relationshipswith.
