Danaher CEO Comments on Outlook

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) commented today on the performance outlook of the company for 2009. President and Chief Executive Officer H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. communicated the company expects 2009 earnings per share to be in the range of $3.70 to $4.10.

Mr. Culp stated, "We have taken significant steps to prepare our businesses for what we believe will be a difficult year ahead. However, despite the current economic backdrop, we believe we are well positioned for 2009."
