Agendia Announces Six Studies in Breast and Colon Cancer for Presentation at 2011 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)

AMSTERAM and IRVINE, California, June 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Agendia, a commercial-stage molecular cancer diagnostics company, announced today that it will present results from four completed and one ongoing study, at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Agendia will publish the results of an additional study in conjunction with the event. The meeting will be held from June 3-7, 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.

Currently on the market in the US and Europe, Agendia's Symphony(TM) suite of molecular diagnostic breast cancer tests enables physicians to determine whether a given breast cancer patient is likely to benefit from hormonal therapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapies, thereby providing benefits over existing treatment approaches for patients, physicians and payers.

Agendia's lead product, Mammaprint(R), is currently the only molecular diagnostic breast cancer recurrence test available on the market to have received FDA clearance. Agendia's product development pipeline includes a further extension of its breast cancer tests as well as similar molecular diagnostic products for colon cancer.
