Dr. Balasubramaniam Ramana is a senior surgeon specialised in hernia and bariatric surgery, having been a general and advanced laparoscopic surgeon for more than two decades. He is the Founder of the AWR Surgeons Community that has revolutionised modern hernia surgery in India and other countries.
He is also the President of the International Bariatric Club, Asia-Pacific region and is the Chairman of the IBC Academy. He is associated with Apollo Gleneagles Hospital and Belle Vue Clinic in Kolkata.
