The companies on FORTUNE's annual list have the strongest three-yearsales, profit and stock growth among all U.S. public companies. According tothe magazine, in order to qualify for this year's listing, a company must havea minimum market capitalization of $250 million; have a stock price of atleast $5; have revenue and net income for the four quarters that ended March31, 2007 of at least $50 million and $10 million, respectively; and haveposted a compound annual growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least25% annually. All companies that met these criteria were ranked by theirrevenue growth rate; their EPS growth rate; and their three-year annualizedtotal return to investors for the period ended June 30, 2007. The overall rankis based on the sum of the three ranks.
In addition to the FORTUNE ranking, inVentiv Health was also rankedearlier this year as one of BusinessWeek's "Hot Growth 100" companies for2007, and Business 2.0's "100 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies."
