SOMERSET, N.J., Nov. 8 inVentiv Commercial, an operatingsegment of inVentiv Health Inc. (Nasdaq: VTIV), today announced a realignmentof its business into two divisions: inVentiv Strategy & Analytics and inVentivSelling Solutions. In conjunction with this reorganization, inVentiv haspromoted Jeffrey Thomas to President of inVentiv Strategy & Analytics and PaulMignon to President of inVentiv Selling Solutions.

As President of inVentiv Strategy & Analytics, Mr. Thomas will lead agroup of inVentiv business units that provide clients with strategic planning,market analytics, research, market segmentation and managed markets strategy.Mr. Thomas joined inVentiv in 2005 and formerly served as Vice President andManaging Director of Ventiv Access Group which he launched and managed. Priorto joining inVentiv, Mr. Thomas was President of Ranbaxy Laboratories and heldseveral senior management roles with Novartis Pharmaceuticals. In his newrole, Mr. Thomas reports to Mr. Herring.

inVentiv Strategy & Analytics is comprised of CHS, Health ProductsResearch, Strategyx, and Ventiv Access Group.

Since 2002, Paul Mignon has overseen the inVentiv sales teams' businessand led it to become the industry's leading provider of outsourcedpharmaceutical sales teams. As President of inVentiv Selling Solutions, Mr.Mignon's span of responsibility will extend to business units that support thelaunch and operation of the sales teams as well as the business developmentgroup. Prior to joining inVentiv in 2002, Mr. Mignon spent more than 14 yearswith Johnson & Johnson in progressive sales and marketing roles, most recentlyas a National Sales Director. Mr. Mignon continues to report to Mr. Herringin his new role.

inVentiv Selling Solutions brings together all of the business units thatprovide sales teams and supporting services to our clients, thus enablinginVentiv to deliver comprehensive sales programs. The division is comprisedof ASERT, Blue Diesel, Medconference, PROMOTECH, PRS Franklin, Total DataSolutions, Ventiv Professional Development Group, Ventiv Recruitment Services,inVentiv Resource Solutions, and Ventiv Sales Teams.

inVentiv also announces that Alan Birtchet has been promoted to ChiefOperating Officer of Ventiv Sales Teams, reporting to Paul Mignon. Beforeassuming his current role at inVentiv, Mr. Birtchet served as Vice Presidentof Commercialization. Mr. Birtchet has more than 25 years of pharmaceuticalindustry experience, including recently serving as Vice President of Sales forALTANA Pharma US.
