IRVING, Texas, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The LaSalle Group, Inc., a national leader in memory care assisted living,
The relationship initially involves the sale and leaseback of five of LaSalle's Autumn Leaves® communities for a 15-year term with renewal options. The partnership allows both companies to jointly pursue new and future growth opportunities, while enhancing the quality of care and level of services LaSalle provides to those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia through its network of 50 Autumn Leaves communities in nine states.
"We are extremely pleased to partner with NHI, which brings the expertise and resources of a like-minded capital partner in the healthcare sector to our successful develop-design-build-operate business model," said Mitchell W. Warren, LaSalle's Chairman, CEO, and Co-Owner. "With LaSalle retaining management oversight and a financial connection to the communities, we will ensure there will be no operational changes at the community level. Our residents and their families can continue to rely on the expert individualized care and family-focused compassion that are the hallmarks of the Autumn Leaves brand."
The recapitalization, which closed on March 15, includes two Dallas-Fort Worth Autumn Leaves communities (Autumn Leaves of Arlington and Rockwall), and three Chicagoland locations (Autumn Leaves of Bolingbrook, Crystal Lake, and South Barrington). Warren added, "We look forward to expanding our relationship with NHI, as we continue to meet the objectives of all of our partners."
