Jones joins Guardian from GE Money where he was Vice President ofCommunications for the Americas region. Earlier, he ran the communicationsfunction at GE Commercial Finance's Corporate Financial Services unit andbefore that worked at MasterCard Worldwide. He also has held positions withseveral New York City-based public relations firms.
Jones graduated from Ohio University with a master's degree in journalismand a bachelor's degree in communication.
