The latest of several ModernMed practices nationwide, Dr. Warshaw willserve patients in the Central and North Palm Beach County area and isscheduled to open on Nov. 3. The practice will accommodate a maximum of only500 patients, compared to the 2,500 patient load of the average primarymedical practice.

Dr. Warshaw will treat patients age five and older with a broad range ofwellness services to complement his preventive approach to primary healthcare. Dr. Warshaw diagnoses and manages a wide array of medical issuesincluding diabetes, heart disease, nutrition and weight management. Patientswill receive annual comprehensive wellness exams and have direct access totheir electronic medical records.
A graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J., Dr.Warshaw is board-certified in Family Practice. He completed the FamilyMedicine Residency Program at the prestigious Brown University Medical Schoolin Providence, R.I., notable for its community outreach programs.
Dr. Warshaw previously served as president of the Rhode Island Academy ofFamily Physicians before accepting a position with Good Samaritan MedicalHospital in West Palm Beach in 1993. There he assisted with the development ofthe Good Samaritan Primary Care group practice, served on the Executive StaffCommittee and as chief of the Family Medicine Division.
He was named one of South Florida's Top Physicians in 2002 by MiamiMagazine and is a member of the American Medical Association, the AmericanAcademy of Family Physicians, the Florida Medical Association and the PalmBeach Medical Society.
