PharmMD Announces Denise Kehoe as Vice President of Business Development

NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 14 Denise Kehoe has joinedmedication therapy management (MTM) company PharmMD as vice president ofbusiness development. In her new role, she will manage and oversee theexpansion of the company's growing base of clients across the country.

Kehoe brings more than 15 years of clinical pharmacy, research andoperations experience to PharmMD. She recently served as national strategicexecutive of managed care sales and contracting for Walgreens after holdingpositions with the company as a multi-site pharmacy manager, facultypractitioner, regional clinical manager and regional vice president. Prior tomore than a decade with Walgreens, Kehoe was a relief pharmacist at theUniversity of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M, and a researchassistant for the Los Alamos National Laboratories Human Genome Projectconducted at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center inAlbuquerque.

PharmMD prevents medication-related health problems through theapplication of the best pharmacist and physician knowledge. Kehoe also served as the president of the New MexicoPharmacists Association where she was instrumental in implementing policiesexpanding the clinical practice role of pharmacists. Kehoe activelyparticipates with collaborative healthcare initiatives promoting pharmacistsas the medication experts.

Kehoe earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of NewMexico in Albuquerque in 1992 and a master's of business administration fromthe University of Phoenix in Albuquerque in 1999. She later served as a member

of the dean's executive advisory board for the University of New MexicoCollege of Pharmacy.
