IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 19 L.A. Fitness® is pleased to announce the opening of its newest sports club, a 57,500 square foot facility, in Mesa, Arizona. The club is at the intersection of East University Drive and North Stapley Drive.

"We are pleased to add our fourth club to the Mesa community," said Louis Welch, CEO of L.A. Fitness. The new state-of-the-art Sports Club expects to employ 50 people ranging from part-time group fitness instructors to full-time club staff. This location features full court basketball, a three-lane lap pool, racquetball courts, a whirlpool spa and locker rooms, as well as a separate group exercise studio and a multi-tiered indoor cycling room. These amenities surround a full array of equipment, including over 60 pieces of the latest-generation cardio equipment, selectorized circuit training, and free weight areas. Trained instructors lead more than 60 classes per week covering every level and degree of intensity from yoga to fast-paced aerobics. Personal training and babysitting services are also available.
