Health IT Increasingly Essential To Improving Access, Cost and Quality of Healthcare

Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) will release A Call for Action: Enabling Healthcare Reform Using Information Technology, a detailed report outlining specific priorities and recommendations for the 111th Congress and the Obama Administration for cost-effectively integrating health IT into healthcare reform proposals.

The Workgroup's recommendations represent necessary measures to develop and sustain a robust health IT infrastructure.
