National Distribution Through Tech Data's Healthcare Specialized Business Unit

CARROLLTON, Ga., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. today announced that Tech Data Corporation, a leading distributor of information technology (IT) products, will make Greenway's integrated, single-database electronic health record (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution PrimeSuite® available to its tens of thousands of IT reseller customers nationwide. Tech Data's customers support the IT needs of end users of all sizes in the public and private sectors, including healthcare providers.

Tech Data is a global leader in technology distribution through similar relationships with Apple, Cisco, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Sony and other leading technologies. Through its Healthcare Specialized Business Unit (SBU), Tech Data and Greenway will enable resellers to deploy solutions that help healthcare practitioners improve patient care and qualify for EHR Meaningful Use incentives provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Within the partnership, Greenway will provide implementation and training support, as well as customer service needs following deployment.
