Foundation Radiology Group Adds World Class Cardiovascular Imaging Expert, Dr. Sanj Katyal, to Staff

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 25 Pittsburgh-based Foundation RadiologyGroup (FRG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Sanj Katyal as their newSenior Vice President of Clinical Operations. Katyal will be joining them fromWest Penn Hospital, where he was most recently the Chief of CardiovascularImaging and Past President of the Pittsburgh Radiology Society.

Dr. Katyal is widely regarded as the preeminent cardiovascular imager inWestern Pennsylvania. Dr. Derek Armfield, president of FRG, said, "Dr. Katyalis not only a great clinician but a well-recognized leader in the local andnational radiology landscape. His expertise in advanced body imaging andcardiac CT will further enhance our ability to provide subspecialtyinterpretations for our clients. FRG's board certified radiologists are available 24/7/365 to providereadings in musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, mammography, cardiacCT, interventional radiology, pediatric radiology, brain perfusion, vascularultrasound, OB/GYN ultrasound and general radiology. With this broad range ofcapabilities, FRG is ideally positioned to provide subspecialty radiologicalservices to smaller hospitals and outpatient centers that can't afford to keepsubspecialists on staff.
