In this position, Mr. Marotta will be responsible for the sales andmarketing activities of EaglePicher Medical Power including customerdevelopment initiatives. EaglePicher's medical division has seen tremendousgrowth and innovation in the last year with the launch of the Micro Cell --the world's smallest implantable battery - as well as its Lithium Thionylchloride battery, which is the first implantable cell specifically formonitoring applications.

Mr. Marotta joins EaglePicher Medical Power with more than 20 years ofsales and marketing experience. Most recently, he spent six years as vicepresident of worldwide sales and marketing at National Manufacturing Co, Inc.,a global manufacturer of deep drawn component technology for medical,industrial, automotive, defense and electronic applications.
Prior to that, Mr. Marotta was vice president of sales and marketing atWiedenbach Corporation. Previously, he spent ten years as national salesmanager at Aeroquip Corp., a division of Eaton Corp.
Mr. Marotta holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and business managementfrom the University of Arizona.
