Eagle Golf Drive Against Cancer Golf Tournament Raises Over $100,000 for LIVESTRONG

DALLAS, July 6 On Tuesday June 22nd, 2010 at 10:00 am CDT, Eagle Golf held their first annual Drive Against Cancer Golf Tournament. 2,233 golfers participated in an attempt to break the world record for the largest shotgun start tournament. The 2,233 participants far exceed the current world record of 1,019. The event raised over $100,000 for LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Course level and national prizes were awarded. Clear Creek Golf Course in Houston, TX hosted the winning team and the winners will enjoy a trip for 4 to Pinehurst. Other National prizes were sponsored by Nike Golf and TaylorMade/adidas. Eagle Golf has set the date for their 2nd Annual Drive against Cancer - May 16th, 2011.
