SOUTH AMBOY, N.J., Feb. 1 DCH Auto Group is pleased to announce today the launch of its new wellness program DCH Life Roads. The program seeks to establish a workplace that encourages and supports healthy lifestyles by integrating health promotion activities and resources that help to enhance health and well-being among DCH Auto Group's employees and their families.

DCH believes that maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be very challenging in this fast paced world. As rates of obesity, smoking related diseases, heart disease and diabetes continue to rise, subscribing to a healthy way of living has never been more important.

"Health issues have a key impact on work productivity, job satisfaction and containing health care costs," said George Quinn, Corporate Benefits Manager for DCH Auto Group. "Most employers that sponsor wellness programs have a significant return on the investment, ranging from three to as much as seven dollars for every dollar invested."

Wellness programs are connected to well-being beyond employees' health. Employees at companies offering wellness programs are significantly more satisfied with their jobs, more likely to remain with the company long term, and more likely to enjoy their lives outside of work. "Providing a wellness program lowers health care costs, reduces absenteeism, improves morale, and is just the right thing to do," said Shau-wai Lam, Chairman of DCH Auto Group.

In addition to offering health-related programs and opportunities, DCH Life Roads will encourage employees to get and stay healthy through financial incentives and rewards.

The first program being offered by DCH Life Roads will be a smoking cessation program called Quit for Life®. The Quit For Life® program is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society® and Free & Clear® that employs a combination of physical, psychological and behavioral strategies to enable participants to take responsibility for and overcome their addiction to tobacco use.

The smoker cessation program will be available to employees, their spouses or domestic partners this year at no charge.

"We are excited about the launch of DCH Life Roads," said Susan Scarola, President and CEO of DCH Auto Group. "Wellness is a journey, and our belief is that DCH Life Roads will be the support our employees need to get and stay healthy."
