SAN FRANCISCO, July 22 Brown & Toland Physicians welcomes Michael Gam as chief financial officer. Gam, 47, will oversee all finance operations at the medical group, one of the largest in California.

Gam has more than 16 years experience in healthcare finance. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Talbert Medical Group in Southern California. Prior to his post at Talbert, he was director of finance for the City of Hope Hospital and a controller for MedPartners.

"Michael brings extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, which will help Brown & Toland tremendously as we build our long-term strategies," said Richard Fish, Brown & Toland's Senior Vice President for New Business Development. "We're very fortunate to have him join our team."
