Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center Health Care System Selects Eclipsys

Bronx-Lebanon, the largest voluntary not-for-profit health system servingthe South and Central Bronx, will implement Eclipsys' Sunrise Clinical Managerintegrated platform, including the modules Sunrise Acute Care(TM), SunriseEmergency Care(TM), Sunrise Ambulatory Care(TM), Sunrise Critical Care(TM),Sunrise Pharmacy(TM), Knowledge-Based Medication Administration(TM), andKnowledge-Based Charting(TM).

To help ensure that patient information flows seamlessly from registrationand scheduling to the point of care, Bronx-Lebanon will also implementEclipsys Sunrise Patient Registration(TM) and Sunrise EnterpriseScheduling(TM), both of which are integrated with Sunrise Clinical Manager.

"When the Eclipsys program is fully implemented in the next two years, wewill have the important advantage of a fully integrated electronic medicalrecord system for the inpatient, ER and outpatient areas; thereby enabling usto keep pace with the latest technological advances in the field," statedSteven Anderman, chief operating officer, Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center HealthCare System.

Integrated Platform to Better Connect Care Providers

Eclipsys integrated clinical solutions will connect caregivers so nomatter where a patient presents - across the enterprise or in the community -each clinical team member has access to the up-to-date health records. Itwill leverage the evidence-based order sets in Eclipsys Knowledge-BasedCPOE(TM) solution to help improve efficiency and drive adherence to standardpractices. Eclipsys' user-friendly interface will enable Bronx-Lebanonphysicians to build their own order sets, thereby engaging them in theimplementation process, and helping to drive high rates of solution adoption.
