Strandquist, who was previously head of Braemar, joined the company inJanuary 2002 as General Manager and served as Braemar President since October2002. Before that, he held executive management positions at ELA Medical,Angeion Corporation and Medtronic.

Biotel announced that Paul Brinda has joined the Company as ChiefOperating Officer of the Braemar Division. He was previously Director ofResearch and Development at Minntech Corporation.
The Company also announced that its Advanced Biosensor Division has nowbeen consolidated organizationally into Braemar, and will do business underthat name going forward. Management and operations remain in South Carolina.
In addition, Biotel said that it has transferred manufacturing of itsBraemar tissue management and fluid extraction equipment from King, NorthCarolina, to Braemar headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota.
"These are important moves for Biotel designed to focus resources on thegrowth of our brands and to extend our design-build capabilities to newmedical device applications while streamlining the organization to maximizesupport for our OEM business partners," said Steve Springrose, Biotel'sPresident and Chief Executive Officer.
