Bank of America Open Tees Off Tournament Week with Red, White and Blue Memorial Day Golf Clinic

CHICAGO, May 22 The Bank of America Open will officiallytee off tournament week on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 with an adaptive golfclinic for disabled veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Beginning at 10 a.m.attending veterans will receive tailored instruction from adaptive golfspecialists at the Red, White and Blue Golf Clinic on the practice range ofThe Glen Club, host course of the Nationwide Tour's Bank of America Open. Theclinic will be followed by lunch and a round of golf at the Glenview National9 across the street from The Glen Club beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Hosted in conjunction with the tournament's official charity, Great LakesAdaptive Sports Association, Hines VA Hospital and Wounded Warriors DisabledSports Project, the clinic will also welcome distinguished army veteran andPGA TOUR Community Outreach Coordinator Dan Nevins. Nevins will be on hand tomeet and practice with the veterans and will also attend the Wednesday Bank ofAmerica Pro Am.

Monday, May 26 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Red, White and Blue Memorial Day Golf Clinic The Glen Club 2901 West Lake Avenue Glenview, Ill. The tournament welcomes 20-25 disabled veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces for an adaptive golf clinic, lunch and round of golf at the Glenview National Nine. Tuesday, May 27 All Day Professional Practice Rounds The Glen Club 7 a.m. Bank of America Open Qualifiers Bolingbrook Golf Course 2001 Rodeo Drive Bolingbrook, Ill. Deerfield Golf Club 1201 Saunders Road Deerfield, Ill. 14 total qualifiers from the following two locations will advance to the Bank of America Open field. Field lists can be obtained by calling the Illinois PGA office at (847) 729-5700. 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Nationwide Tour Wives Association Host GLASA Athletes Pinstripes 1150 Willow Road Northbrook, Ill. Wives of Nationwide Tour players will host athletes of all ages from the tournament's official charity Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association for an afternoon of bowling and bocce. Wednesday, May 28 Bank of America Open Full Field Lists will be available at bankofamerica.com and in the Media Center 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Bank of America Pro-Am The Glen Club 7 a.m. Morning tee times begin 12 p.m. Afternoon tee times begin 1:45 p.m. Morning awards party 6 p.m. Afternoon awards party Players will be available for media interviews prior to their scheduled tee times or following their round.
