AHIT licensed the endovascular product in July of 2007 from Hani Shennib,MD, a cardiovascular surgeon formerly at the Arizona Heart Hospital. Theproduct was prototyped, tested and marketed to multiple medical companiesimmediately following positive clinical test results. The product shouldreach both the U.S. and international markets by the first quarter of 2009.

Bill Colone, who co-founded AHIT in August 2006, has over 26 years ofexperience in developing and marketing medical devices. He served asPresident of Endomed, Inc. for over ten years, until its sale to LeMaitreVascular (LMAT) in February 2005. Bill holds eleven US patents for medicaldevices with other applications pending.
