Albertsons Rx-tra Savings program includes generic alternatives for someof the most commonly prescribed drugs used to treat disease states such asdiabetes, asthma, depression, heart disease, thyroid and other healthproblems. Membership in the program is a one-time $10 fee which covers allmembers of the household -- with no restrictions on number of participants orprescriptions. And for a limited time, shoppers who register for the programwill receive a $10 Albertsons gift certificate. People interested in joiningAlbertsons Rx-tra Savings can do so at any Albertsons pharmacy.

With the onset of the Albertsons Rx-tra Savings program, Albertsonspharmacies will discontinue its "Meet or Beat" prescription pricing program.
Albertson's LLC is working to become the favorite food and drug retailerin every market it serves. The company is privately owned and operates over250 stores under the Albertsons banner in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado,Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
