Yoga Menstruation - The cross-legged posture


The cross-legged posture (sukhasana)

This is an ideal posture to calm yourself and turn inward. This posture increases the blood supply to the pelvic region. The rate of respiration and metabolism decreases in this posture.

Steps:

  1. Sit in a cross-legged position. Keep your spine erect.
  2. With hands on your thighs, place the feet beneath the knees.
  3. Close your eyes and relax all parts of the body.
