Hijacking Situations and Behaviour Considerations
Motive
One reason for hijacking a plane is to hold the passengers as hostages till the hijackers get what they want. Hijackers hold passengers to ransom in some cases. Another reason is for publicity sought by the hijackers for a cause or grievance. Some are suicidal mission using the aircraft as a missile like the attacks on 9/11.
