Bladder neck incision is performed by an urologist.

Medications like tamsulosin and terazosin can cause side effects like postural hypotension and retrograde ejaculation.

4. Can urethral dilators be used to relieve bladder neck obstruction?

Urethral dilators can be used to widen the obstruction instead of undergoing a bladder neck incision but this generally is inadequate and not advised.

No. These patients will experience a relief of their symptoms only when the primary cause is treated.

I underwent TURP 8 months ago. Since then I have been suffering from irregular urination. I had to urinate 2=3 times during night and force urination. After flexible cystoscopy doctor told me I am suffering from bladder neck constriction. My urine flow is bit slow but there is no retention of urine in bladder. I need to know whether I need surgery or whether I can contain this problem without surgery
