Announcing this at a press meet here, CEO Dr. Sunil Shroff said that as the site was made WAP-enabled, the people could access the vast content on the site through cell phones. He further said WAP-enabling of the site was in tune with the MedIndia policy of using the advancements of IT for furthering the possibilities of the medical practice. contains vast and useful features for both medical professionals and healthcare consumers besides the search facility that enables a person to look for a doctor in their locality, he said. The comprehensive database provided addresses of doctors and hospitals in cities, small towns and even in remote part of the country, he added.
