Symptoms of Ectopic Pregnancy

Pain is usually the first symptom of an ectopic pregnancy. The pain may be in the pelvis, abdomen or can extend up to the shoulders (due to blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy). Pain from an ectopic pregnancy is usually described as sharp and stabbing. It may come and go and vary in intensity.

Warning signs of ectopic pregnancy -

  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Abdominal pain
  • Feeling of dizziness
  • Low blood pressure
  • Sweating
