Nutritional qualities
It is referred to as a "protective fruit". Owing to its excellent nutritional qualities it is an essential fruit in the "Driers Cancer Diet". Vitamin C is found in abundance, it also contains vitamin A, thiamine and riboflavin. A treasure house of minerals calcium, phosphorous, iron, magnesium, potassium, sodium, chlorine, sulphur and manganese are present in it. If described in short it is fat free, cholesterol free, very low in sodium, and very high in vitamin C.
