Health benefits
Medical studies have shown that garlic can lower blood cholesterol, lower blood LDL levels, prevent clots formation in blood, reduce blood pressure, prevent cancer and has anti-fungal as well as anti-bacterial activity. Allicin and s-allyl-cysteine block the action of carcinogens and slow tumour growth.
