this guy has a book that has some quite good advice I read it through and it made some sense

People who have sex addiction should get help soon. It can save their lives and their relationship with other people.

a person overtly indulging in sexual acts or fantasies is often very conscious of his excesses but it takes a professional to evaluate the symptoms and confirm the addiction. of course, not all the 'sexually overinclined' are addicted!

Could this idea of 'sex addiction' be missing something? For every person who thinks that they might have a 'sex addiction', there is a unique story about how they have come to this understanding. We are constantly making meaning out of the events and situations of our lives. A good therapist or counselor will help a person explore these meanings and come to a richer and more useful description of what might be troubling them and the way forward.
