Glossary

Stroke: A condition in which blood supply is temporarily cut off to the brain either due to a clot or hemorrhage. This can cause permanent paralysis of the limbs, loss of speech, etc.

Multiple Sclerosis: It is an auto immune disorder which affects the brain and spinal cord by acting upon the nerve sheath. This can affect various parts of the body

EEG: Electro encephalogram is a test just like an ECG. It checks the activity of the brain by recording waves.
