Gastroenterologist: A doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system (which includes the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, intestines, and liver).Immunity: The ability of the body to fight disease.
Pap Smear: A test for cancer of the cervix in females. The cervical cells are collected with a swab and tested for cancer.
Swab: A piece of cotton or gauze attached to a stick used for applying or removing a substance from the surface.
Venereal disease: A disease that is spread through sexual contact.
