What are the Indications for Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)?
Abdominoplasty is indicated if either or all of the following conditions exist-
- Sagging of the abdominal skin
- Protruding abdomen, which is out of proportion with the rest of the body
- Separation or weakening of the abdominal muscles
- Concentration of fatty tissue in the abdomen
Abdominoplasty is usually desired by patients with loose tissues or sagging skin, which may be the result of-

- Major weight loss
- Babies born with ‘Triad Syndrome’
- Aging
- Heredity
- Previous surgery
