Treatment and Prevention of Nightfall | Wet Dreams

How can you Treat and Prevent Nightfall?

Treatment of Nightfall

The treatment depends on finding the underlying cause if any and treating it appropriately.

Most Cases - No Treatment

Most cases of nightfall in young boys and men do not need treatment. They are a normal occurrence, especially due to lack of sexual activity and less frequent masturbation to release the stored semen. If you are concerned about it then consulting a doctor would be helpful.

Nightfall Due to Drug Side Effect

If you are taking medications or hormone supplements for an underlying condition, modifying the dose or switching to an alternative drug may be recommended. Do not stop or change the dose of any drug without first consulting your doctor.

Prostate Gland Inflammation

Pain while passing urine, pain during ejaculation or blood in semen or urine may be a sign of prostate gland inflammation. Consult your doctor, if you have any of the above symptoms. A course of antibiotics may be recommended to treat the prostate infection. In severe cases or if there is a suspicion of prostate cancer, removal of the prostate gland will be recommended

Nervous System Problems

The nerves controlling ejaculation may be injured or weakened by old age, infections, traumatic injuries or conditions such as stroke, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. Treatment involves managing the underlying cause. However, the response may vary depending on the cause. While nightfall due to infections settles down quickly once the infection is controlled, it may be difficult to treat causes such as multiple sclerosis or other nervous system conditions.
