The test can detect various motor diseases, neuromuscular diseases, nerve damage and degenerative conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, cervical spondylosis, muscular dystrophy, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, polymyositis, radial nerve dysfunction and peripheral neuropathy.
3. Should OTC (over the counter) medications be stopped before the procedure?
