Cystic hygroma: Fluid filled sacLymphatic: To do with lymphatic system composed of lymph and lymphatic vessels
Lymph: Transparent, usually slightly yellow, often opalescent liquid found within the lymphatic vessels, and collected from tissues in all parts of the body and returned to the blood via the lymphatic system
Edema: Swelling of subcutaneous tissues
Prenatal: Before birth
Translucent: Partially transparent allowing light to pass through diffusely
Sclerotherapy: Injection of a chemical irritant into a vein or similar structure to produce inflammation and eventual fibrosis and obliteration of the lumen
