Causalgia : a burning pain often associated with trophic skin changes in the hand or foot, caused by peripheral nerve injury

Reflex sympathetic dystrophy : Persistent pain of an extremity after prolonged autonomic nervous system stimulation

Electromyogram : A graphic record of the electrical activity of a muscle as recorded by an electro myograph

Thermography : A technique where in an infrared camera photographically portrays the body's surface temperature, based onself-emanating infrared radiations; used as a diagnostic aid in the detection of breast tumors and the assessment of rheumatic joints; also used in the study of pain
